3rd round of Malysian Super League bring us the duel of two main
title candidates this season but niether of them justified that role in
the opening two rounds.
I see a great value on Johor DT double chance tomorrow, Kelantan is
overpriced in this game, sure they are defending chanpions, they havent
been defeated last season at their home stadium but 1.60 on home team in
derby match like this is nonsense for me. I will gladly take the gift
of 2.25 on Johor DT win or draw double chance. It will be a close match,
i think it is time for Guiza to start scoring and that JDT „stars“
start playing team football. Also i see value in JDT away win for
smaller stakes at 4.20.
Defending champions, Kelantan are struggling, after losing Charity
Shield and a narrow win in first round they were defeated few days ago
by T-Team. Bojan Hodak team didnt play particulary well, had some
chances but didnt manage to convert them to goals. Kelantan depend on
goals from Keita Mandjou but he is often cut off as a lonely striker,
and obviously needs time to adjust to new club and teammates.
Situation in Johor DT isnt much better, lot of money is invested in
team, big stars brought, but it will obviously need time all of them to
settle. Despite their last opponents played two men down entire second
half, Johor DT managed to score only one goal, after a corner. Coach
Fandi was very angry with his team after that match, he said that some
players need to keep their ego in check and start playing as a team.
Also Fandi said that media must stop calling them „star team“ because it
puts a lot of pressure to his team. Something similar happened to PSG
at the beginning of the Le Championat, big stars brought to club, opened
season very poor but after a few round they started to play good
football. I dont say that JDT is PSG, but for Malaysian football with
all that money invested they should be.
